Band aid heart

Band aid heart

I chose to draw this picture because it shows how people will feel alone even though someone right in front of them is waiting to support them. On the right side of the drawing symbolizes how it looks and feels to be alone. A crying eye on a saddened face and an outline of the heart that is supposed to be there, but no love is felt so it is somewhat invisible. On the left side symbolizes the helping hand who is trying to help the girl see that she has a heart and deserves to feel love. There are the friends that are trying to mend the heart that has been broken so many times in the past. And last is the dove which is a symbol of peace. Notice how the supportive side is much busier than the lonely side, because it takes a team to make someone feel welcome.

I always think that pain is inevitable but suffering is optional. Whether it is a life changing experience or just a little bump in the road, how we choose to handle these things in what matters, I know that I will always feel pain about some things, but it doesn’t mean that I have to suffer for the rest of my life. It is possible to get through whatever life throws at you, because nobody is ever alone in this world. There is always someone there to support you. Just because you’re alive doesn’t mean you’re actually living, so live life to the fullest and all will be well.
